Product(s): Dataiku
Overall Comment:"Even though I have an internal specialist that supports my unit on Dataiku issues, I've had a few exchanges with the UK Dataiku team and it was amazing. I've attended a user meet up and the last AI Summit and both events were carefully planned. I got a lot from it. The experience using the tool is the best possible. Dataiku has allowed me to do so much more at work. It opened doors to new possibilities on how to analyse our data and also present it. The low-code functionalities not only make the flow easy to interpret, but allows quick development. "
Ease of use. It's not the most intuitive one, but with a little bit of time you can start developing complex models. It also has good training material. You can even me licensed through the Dataiku Academy. The content is relevant and teaches you best practices that improve the way you use the tool. The machine learning modelling is honestly one of the best. It gives you good out of the box tools and pre-sets that deliver good results. You can compare the different models and favourite the ones you think would be useful.
The pricing is definitely a big barrier. I would like to have more of my team mates using it. Specially the costing analysts, but it's too pricey. Since we have our internal team that looks after our instance, sometimes it takes a lot of time to get the updates. The team tests how the updates impact the current flow and only then release it. This can take multiple weeks. I also don't like that people need to have a licence (even an explorer one) in order to access the data products I develop in Dataiku (e.g. WebApps, Dashboards).
