Overall Comment:"It has been largely positive. It is a reliable and robust database platform with strong performance, good tooling and a wide range of features. Certain areas such as licensing costs, performance tuning complexity and occasional quirks with query optimization do add to the overall slowdowns of my process and limit what i can do. Overall, it remains dependable and well supported."
It has reliable performance and stability even under heavy workloads, excellent management and tooling with SSMS and Azure Data Studio and provides a great feature set of built-in security, analytics and advanced query capability
Licensing and scaling costs can be high, performance tuning is quite complex and some features feel fragmented across tools (between SSMS, azure data studio and cloud based management)
