When i was assessing the capabilities for automation of workflows, analytics etc, I was able to understand that the platform truly provides what they claim. The way it simplifies complex data workflows is something which keeps it standing out.

ANALYST

For enterprise users of Alteryx, the Alteryx Server is a must-have as it provides scheduling and sharing capabilities. On a team of analysts, we needed a way to cross-share our schedules and workflows, to help cover PTO/leave and so other analysts can monitor others' schedules, workflow and apps.

The collection feature really helps us organize our workflows, and I appreciate that we can add our schedules to the workflows as well. 

Within the scheduling area, the flexibility of having Daily, Weekly, Hourly, and more options as great. The timezone conversion is a little tricky though with daylight savings sometimes, but there is a special timezone option that can convert it.

The "table" format of the list of workflows can be better though, as it is a little dated. If there was flexibility on what metadata we can see in these tables of lists would be great. 

The search function can be a little hit and miss too. We noticed that it is case-sensitive at times. Again, having search options and some flexibility in search would be great too.

Overall, our work lives are made much better with the use of Alteryx Server.

We have had a largely positive experience with Alteryx One Platform. It has significantly improved our ability to automate repetitive data workflows and reduced dependency on heavy coding for day to day analytics tasks. The platform is especially useful for quick data preparation and building repeatable pipelines. That said there are some limitations around performance with large datasets and the overall cost can feel high compared to alternatives. While it's great for analysts, scaling it across teams requires careful planning.
