Sectigo has become the backbone of our certificate lifecycle. Once we put in the effort to structure policies and enrollment profiles, the day-to-day certification work went from "firefighting and spreadsheets" to something we barely think about. There are still some UI quirks and the learning curve is real, but overall it has given us much better control, visibility and confidence around PKI across a pretty complex environment.

Overall SCM is a good product that serves our needs. The reason for the Average rating is mainly due to the very slow and cumbersome Domain Control Validation renewals in the GUI. There is a persistent bug that takes 2-3 mins to fail and then requires cancelling the process and starting again. It is also very, very slow. It can't handle more than a few domain validations at a time, so when you have a large number of domains it will take dozens of mouse clicks to get the job done. Their support suggests using API calls instead and whilst that makes sense, the GUI should just be able to handle this (their main competitor's GUI only takes a fraction of the time and effort to get 70+ domains re-validated).

Overall, the experience has been positive. The product/service met our expectations and addressed the core requirements effectively. It was straightforward to use, integrated well with existing processes, and provided clear value in terms of reliability and efficiency. Support and documentation were helpful when needed and implementation was smooth. There are areas where additional features or refinements could further enhance usability, but overall it has been a dependable and worthwhile solution that supports our operational and business needs..
