Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has got File-based Data Import(FBDI) feature which is excellent for all sort of Bulk data importing and processing into Oracle Fusion for all types of modules include finance ones. During data conversion of financial data into Oracle Fusion, we used to feed thousands of Journal entries and Payable Invoices into GL and AP everyday and later on once data was loaded into SaaS, we used to reconcile the same using Reporting tools like BI Reports . It ensures that our Transaction Management is more efficient, automated and less prone to human errors then manual entry. All the accounting rules including Chart of accounts and mapping get checked in the fusion before loading the data which helps us catch any sort of accounting error right away without manually verifying the records one by one. As a developer I have built hundreds of complex BI reports for our clients which allows us to produce high fidelity reporting for their internal audits and management reviews along with business decision making. The security features in it are also very robust as users can be assigned user roles which controls their access to modules, business units and objects(Like Report or Extensions) in SaaS. This ensures only authorized personnel can modify crucial financial setups.

I think that the success of your use of the ERP depends on the setup. We have had some setup issues from years ago that are unable to be resolved now, at least with any less complex solution that doesn't require consulting. I also don't find that there are many product improvements being rolled out despite consistent feedback given on hope for improvements.
