The Workday product leverages best practices across multiple industries for back-office processes. Workday continues to upgrade and enhance their product on a semi-annual basis. Their customer community is very strong.

The navigation tools and customization options are behind. It also has not been and simple to implement as initially promised, with many items still lagging months after our implementation was supposed to be finished. Creating any customized field feels like a hassle with many hoops to jump through. Finding reports and specific items is also difficult with everything relying on a search bar. I think that Workday is rolling out improvements in these areas, but it is easy to tell the financial side was not built first on their platform.
