We first engaged Workday as part of our RFP process for a new ERP, HCM and Planning solution. During that process, we learned about Workday's innovative development, modern interface, and robust features. We ultimately chose Workday not just for their culture and partnership, but for their ability to tie the financials and people together in one place to make ERP/HCM go from a backoffice function to an operational toolset. Workday empowers our front-line managers to take action on their own. The business process framework allows us, from a corporate perspective, to help guide them through the process, and ultimately manage their team and make sure that when they need to take action, they can do it. It also gives front-line workers visibility to the data they need to answer, 'How am I doing?' and 'How much can I make?' while enabling them to dig into their own operations. Workday continues to this day to innovate the product set to be a best in class overall platform. Overall, we are very satisfied with the platform and will continue to leverage it for new use cases.

I can tell workday is a very useful platform for HR managers. I find the user interface experience a little clunky...I'm sure what it accomplishes is great. It just feels like software from 2014.

Now half way through our second five year licence period, having just completed a complex 1,100 FTE, 14 country and 17 entity migration to Workday.  Could not be happier with our renewal decision, the product and the way the migration went.  We are now full platform, 7,500 employees in the US, UK, India, Philippinnes, Lithuania and further extension into EMEA and APAC.

Our renewal was predicated on proven scalable product features and integration-ready nature; we were able to expand the functionality into new areas (payroll partnership where non-native, use of banking-as-a-service) to marry up a talented Workday savvy team on the acquisition side with strong, wider SaaS/ERP talent on the acquiror side to great effect.  This leveraged Workday adoption at a rate that has surprised even us.
