1. Highly configurable system that allowed us to replace six other HCM/ATS/L&D/Timekeeping applications. 2. Mobile-friendly tools for all employees, which are important for our field staff. 3. Real-time analytics that can be built into dashboards and applications. 4. A great international community of other Workday customers. Because we're all on the same code base, we can share solutions and best practices.

Certain links are made available to the users that do not provide useful information. Unintuitive design leads users to click multiple things in order to find what they are looking for. Booking vacation is more difficult through Workday because it shows the vacation time accrued. Additional maneuvering is required to see the total vacation time for the year. More confusingly, you are able to book and take vacation before accruing the hours, so this design makes it difficult to track how much vacation you have left. There is also no notification to let you know if your vacation has been approved, and there is also a delay in managers getting the vacation request. Workday also do not seem to provide managers with a good consolidated view of vacations for their teams. Rollout was buggy from a user perspective with certain features not working
