When we began evaluating options for a new cloud validation tool, we identified FortiCNAPP as the ideal partner for the task. For existing Fortinet customers familiar with the company’s portfolio, we believed it would be a strong choice, despite some gaps compared to other market offerings. After a year of use, we can say that FortiCNAPP has evolved significantly and is now much more deeply integrated into the Fortinet ecosystem; however, it still falls short in areas such as data classification to meet regulatory privacy requirements. I believe FortiCNAPP can evolve into a viable option for customers outside the Fortinet environment.
