What I like most is that it was easy to get real, actionable visibilit without a huge deployment project. Configuration was straightforward, and once connected, the API securit features gave us a much clearer picture of our API exposure and posture. Being able to actively test and validate API security rather than just rely on static configuration checks has been a big win. The interactive service map is a game changer for understanding how services talk to each other in production; it makes it much easier to spot unexpected paths, risk dependencies, and blast-radius issues at a glance. Security events are presented with enough context (workloads, APIs, and service interactions) that m team can prioritize and respond faster instead of digging through multiple tools.

Since Upwind is very good at crawling through the cloud for applications and data, the main issue lies in the reporting part where dashboards and reporting features feel outdated. Upwind uses eBPF Sensors to watch the software or application it utilises to many resources which needs to be manually tuned with the help of human Intervention.
