Product: ClickUp

Powerful and flexible — but invest in setup and training to get the most out of it!

Product: ClickUp

Extremely flexible and compatible with existing software but could use some stronger client-facing features

Here are a few things I genuinely love about ClickUp: Multiple views: Being able to switch between list, board, and calendar views depending on what I need at the moment is a game-changer. I use it differently depending on the project, and it adapts perfectly. Task dependencies and priorities: I manage several work streams at once, so being able to mark tasks as blocking or dependent on others, and set priority levels, helps me stay on top of what actually needs my attention first. Commenting and tagging directly on tasks: Instead of sending a separate email or message, I can just tag someone on the task itself and keep all the context in one place. It saves so much back and forth. Honestly it's one of the few tools where I feel like it was built for how real people actually work!

Main issue that we find is that there's no native way to be able to email task or project lists to our clients on an automated repeatable schedule. They can go out as PDF but that's not as user-friendly as an organic task list in an email would be. Additionally, there are some limitations in the task view of the dashboard which compromises how refined your view is which we had to work around because there was no native solution.
