We heavily use the grid sheets. Its very much like Excel, including formulas, but you can attach documents to lines, create a separate submission form that will log submissions into the grid automatically, and create automations that request approvals or email reports or alerts automatically when criteria is met or on a recurring basis. Great for IT Ticket systems, and for form submissions that include approval requests. You can even merge specific data from multiple sheets into one summary landing page for your team to see deadlines, open projects, submissions, to-do lists. The basic training videos are great, nice and short but to the point.

Its strength is its weakness. The spreadsheet layout is very limiting in terms of greater communication when executing tasks. If all you need it to mark things as done its fine, but if you need to communicate and do any more complex management of a task you will need a different tool.
