My overall experience with Canva has been genuinely positive. I use it almost daily and it has become one of those tools I don't even have to think twice about - it just fits seamlessly into my workflow. As a Social Media person - for me whether its a quick social media post, a presentation, or any last minute request from the team, Canva has got my back!! It is one of the best apps I have used, it is so simple that even older people can use it without having to learn any technical skills. My team has bought a Canva subscription and it works so smoothly. I love their ready to use templates, the resize image feature and the Canva code and spreadsheets. They are all amazing!

Canva is a decent platform for content marketing, but it feels needlessly confusing. There's so many templates, it gets a bit overwhelming. At times, the templates are too "template-ey".

Our overall experience with Canva has been positive, espicially from marketing execution standpoint. it has significantly reduced dependency on design teams for day to day creatives like social posts, presentations, and campaign assets which helps move faster at a startup level of production.

What works well is the ease of use, readily available templates and collaboration. Teams can quickly create, edit and design while maintaining brand consistency through templates and brand kits. This is particularly useful when working across multiple campaigns and stakeholders.

On the flip side, customisation can feel slightly limited for more complex or highly differentiated designs. Also, managing a larger volume of assets and versions can get a bit clutter over time.
Overall its a great tool for scaling content production and team to start from without much prior knowledge one can produce the desired results.
