1) The flexible deployment model. The ability to deploy a physical, virtual, or dockerized appliance has given the OT Cyber team the flexibility to gain visibility into every plant application encountered to-date; 2) The breadth, and depth of OT protocol coverage; 3) the ability to get information not just to, but through, the platform to additional enterprise applications; 4) the extensibility of the platform, ability to either add customized protocol support; the flexibility to add support/detection for new threats, or threats specific to our organization. 5) The Operational insights. Forescout is not used exclusively by the Cyber team. The Ops teams rely heavily on the insights offered by the platform, to improve operational efficiency. 6) The responsiveness of the engineering team: extensibility is nothing without strong engineering support, and Forescout leverages the extensibility of their platform with best-in-class responsiveness/support.
