Well, I can say that it can handle our day-to-day data processing easily and it is also reliable when moving data or integrating data from different systems, but the challenging part is when projects are complex and we have large number of files and data. So, updating existing work or tracking down issues across connected jobs can take more time than expected. I must say that it is dependable, but I personally think it could be simpler to maintain and easier for new team members to pick up or learn

I can't say enough about IBM's DataStage tool.   I have seen the Next Generation DataStage offering as part of watsonx.data integration and am really excited about where IBM is taking this solution.  The new modern UI and architecture fits our needs.  I am also impressed with how much AI IBM is infusing into the product.  Both the DataStage Assistant as well as the Data Integration Agent will help boost the productivity of my developers and business users alike.  It is suited for any company that is on a journey to move, transform, load, and clean data or create data lakehouses for reporting, decision making and analytical consumption. I looked at a few competitors when searching for an ETL tool and no one came close to the overall package that DataStage has to offer.
