What i like most about CrowdStrike Falcon Data Protection is how much clearer things have become for us in terms of data visibility.Earlier, we didn't always know how data was moving or where the risks were, but this gave us a much better sense of control. I also like that it fits naturally with the rest of the Crowdstrike platform, so we're not constantly switching between different tools. The alerts are another plus, they are timely and generally useful, not just noise. Overall once you get used to it, it feels like a solution that actually makes your day-to-day work a bit easier rather than more complicated.

It does not go very deep in many areas and focuses a lot on the endpoints. Also there are very limited customisations available for the policy and it uses the same endpoint sensor so it can't do things on network level which makes it very limited. Also, the reporting capabilities are very limited as compared to the traditional solution and in recent times I have seen it not behave consistently and allow the data flow even if it is set to block it.
