Overall, my experience with FP DPSM has been positive, especially in terms of its capability to give me a clear view of sensitive data in our hybrid environment. The overall experience is centered around visibility and automation. Traditional DLP often fails because organizations do not actually know where their sensitive data is or how it is classified. Forcepoint DSPM solves this pre-DLP headache. Unlike standard DLP that waits for a rule violation to occur, DSPM continuously scans cloud stores (Azure, AWS, Google), on-premise shares, and SaaS apps to find "dark data." It significantly reduces "false positives" for the L2/L3 engineers because the AI-driven classification is much more accurate than old-school regex (regular expressions). It bridges the gap between the CISO’s office (compliance/risk) and the SOC (technical enforcement).
