I have had a very good experience working with Deque. The people that I have worked with at Deque have been very helpful and responsive when I have needed assistance, or some clarification. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that sometimes we have made requests that we expected to have delivered but they end up getting pushed back. Dev Tools works great as an automated scanern and it is nice to have that integrated with Auditor, and also being able to import Dev Tool's JSON into Auditor. Auditor itself is good but it is what I would call a very "opinionated" tool, in the sense that it is set up to test according to Deque's framework, which is not a surprise. It is still the best tool we have found that combines automated checks with manual checks together for a complete overview of a sites accessibility, and a great benefit for tracking and remediation the issues.

This is the worst software I have ever tried to use. When I initially started to use it, I had 8 pages of issues where I essentially QA'd the software for the company. There documentation is inaccurate. Tons of UI/UX and functionality issues. The scans takes days to load and we have not even scratched the surface with adding our sites into the system. The exported results on issues do not show the page URL to the location of a PDF that has the issues. The exported results also do not show if the issue is critical, or other severity metrics. They told our team they were working on launching improvements since last August and we still have not received the updated version. The customer support is terrible when articulating the issues and stop gaps, they took over 4 months to put in a feature request to do the simple task of scanning only portion of the page and being able to automatically email the results. I do not recommend this software. Worst experience I have had in my 20 years of being a developer on using and onboarding a new software.

Axe Auditor is an online tool we use to review websites and mobile applications compliance with relevant legislation and a standard. Deque staff are very approachable, responsive to queries and approach issue management both promptly and professionally. 
We use multiple Deque products in our work to look at compliance with EU legislation relevant to digital accessibility. 
Deque also performs accessibility testing for some of our reviews and assists with analysis for some of the data in our annual reporting.
