My experience with Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management has been solid in a real world enterprise environment. We are using Microsoft 365 extensively, so implementing Purview felt like a natural extension rather than a separate tool. From a security and compliance standpoint, it has helped us bring structure to how data is retained, classified and eventually disposed of. The platform integrates well with existing workloads like Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive, which reduces operational overhead. While there is an initianlly learning curve, once policies are properly configured. It runs reliably and gives good visibility into data governance activities.
