Our team uses Trend Vision One for email security. Setting it up with our email was easy and fast. It catches a lot of bad emails, phishing, and spam that normally slip through our default filters. I am giving it 4 stars because the reporting part is a bit hard to use when I need to show data to my manager. The dashboard also takes a few days to learn. But overall, it does its main job very well.

My experience has been very positive regarding threat detection, specifically around BEC and 'Living off the Land' attacks. The integration of GenAI (Trend Companion) helps my junior admins understand complex alerts faster. While the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times, the technical depth—especially the 'Search and Sweep' capability—makes it an indispensable part of our security stack.

My overall experience with Trend Micro Cloud App Security (CAS) has been overwhelmingly positive, primarily due to its API-first architecture which eliminates the complexity of MX record changes. As an administrator, I find the Zero-Touch deployment and its ability to scan internal-to-internal traffic and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to be its standout features. From a user perspective, the protection is completely transparent, providing a secure environment without any latency or impact on daily productivity. While the management console can occasionally feel a bit slow to respond, the level of security—especially the AI-powered BEC detection—provides a level of confidence that traditional gateways simply cannot match. It is a robust, "set-and-forget" solution that bridges the gap between enterprise-grade control and user-centric simplicity.
