The first thing that I like is the number of features that it offers. It is a single pane of glass for functions that my team uses everyday: Help Desk ticketing, asset inventory, software patching, and documentation. KACE is one of the applications that everyone in the IT department has open on their computer all day, every day. The second thing that I like about the product is the level of detail that it provides about hardware assets. When the KACE agent is installed on a system, it captures everything about the device from a hardware and software standpoint. Having all of this information readily available helps us with lifecycle management, compliance, and budgeting for replacement of these assets. The third item that I like the most is the powerful reporting features. Many reports come baked in to the product, but the application also lets you create your own custom reports. All of the data is stored in a SQL backend. Reports can be created by using prompts in a wizard format, or you can issue direct SQL commands to generate very specific reports.

The user interface is confusing and makes it difficult to find advanced options or settings. Extrem long loading times when saving tickets. Lack of seamless integration with other enterprise tools creates manual work.
