Gartner defines an endpoint protection platform (EPP) as security software designed to protect managed endpoints — including desktop PCs, laptop PCs, virtual desktops, mobile devices and, in some cases, servers — against known and unknown malicious attacks. EPPs provide capabilities for security teams to investigate and remediate incidents that evade prevention controls. Our experience with CrowdStrike Falcon has been very good. It offers strong threat detection, clear visibility of all endpoints, and does not slow down our systems much. Setting it up was easy, and the platform works reliably. Although the cost is a bit high and adjusting the alerts takes some work, it has greatly improved our security.

product is good, although it need to provide more flexibility for administration, like there is no option to have easy report to make sure what all update might have missed and how to update them locally or run command locally to check that.

All in all, I have a very positive perception of using CrowdStrik Falcon. It has great capability for endpoint protection and threat detection. On top of this, the management console from the cloud is simple to use. The amount of security analysis the program provides insight into is great. It is even able to assist with threat response. Although some features of the program came at a high price and require training to implement, taking into consideration all of the factors of the program, the pros certainly outweigh the cons.
