The tight integration between process models, risk, controls, KPIs and application systems makes it highly valuable for governance, audit and compliance purposes. Another strenght is its role as a single source of truth, by centralising process ownership and standardising modelling conventions, ARIS reduces fragmentation and ensures that global processes are aligned and consistently applied. Finally the collaboration and publishing capabilities allow a wide audience to view and understand processes even if only a smaller group actively designs them.
