Product: Allied Telesis Wireless Access Points

Initial deployment challenges offset by exceptional technical support and team expertise

Likes and dislikes about

likes

What I like most about Allied Telesis products and services is the reliability and stability they bring to our network. We experience minimal downtime, and the network runs smoothly, which is crucial for our daily business operations. The solutions are easy to manage and adapt well as our needs grow or change. Whenever we need help, customer support is accessible and resolves issues quickly.

dislikes

Lack of in-depth technical sales consultation: The initial solution consultation process did not adequately involve Sales Engineers. This resulted in a solution design and product selection that was not fully optimized for our real-world requirements, leading to the deployment issues we later had to remediate. Dependence on high-level support for resolution: While ultimately effective, resolving the core issues required escalation to senior high level. This highlights a potential gap in the initial, standard support channel's ability to address foundational solution design problems. Insufficient depth of reference documentation and guides: To maximize the potential of the advanced features and for efficient long-term operation, there is a noticeable lack of comprehensive, in-depth documentation and specialized troubleshooting guides. This forces the operations team to rely heavily on vendor support for complex scenarios, instead of being able to quickly find answers through detailed reference materials.
