I use Expensify on a weekly basis as I travel a ton for business. We have an enterprise license for our company and I also leverage the mobile app while I'm on the move. The platform is the best expense platform I've used over my 20 years of business travel. The UX / UI is wonderful, the platform is super easy to use and I've never had any technical issues. The best part is the tool is so easy to use I never delay doing my expenses which means less expenses missed and a quicker time to reimbursement from my company.

Expensify overpromises and under delivers. There are definitely some positives, but the lack of actual human help and constant innovation for the sake of innovation leads to a mess of a website that is different every time I log in. Many of the most useful features, like the ability to email receipts and have them automatically match to the charge, are spotty at best. When it works, it's great, but it's not reliable, so I have mostly abandoned it. Customer service is a joke, I will reach out to our (allegedly) human account rep and get AI slop word salad answers that do not answer my questions or help.

Interface is great and well thought out. The mobile app capabilities take the admin legwork out of expense reporting. Have experienced some bugs when saving a receipt directly on the mobile app or even on the browser, this has gotten a few team members in trouble since there was no record of recovery. Customizable to your organization and friendly to users, encouraging prompt submission and reporting. There are ways to over-engineer it, but as long as the internal processes are optimized, we feel like Expensify can grow and scale with us as our organization becomes more complex
