Overall, our experience with Oracle EPM has been positive.  The platform provides robust capabilities for planning, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting while improving the consistency and visibility of our financial processes.  Regular cloud updates continue to add valuable enhancements, functionality and AI Capabilities.

Successful implementation requires a thorough process design, strong governance, and user adoption.  Our implementation partner, Accordion, played an important role in helping us configure the solution, align it to our business requirements, and accelerate adoption, contributing to a successful deployment of our implementations.   Additional Accordion focuses on education ensuring the team can operate independently gong forward.

It has been a mixed bag. I was not involved in the implementation (FCCS), but started just after it. the functionality met expectations and the application does what it is meant to do (i.e., integration of ERP data and translation and consolidation. Found the system to be a bit clunky and slow, especially when trying to post manual journals and run reports. System patches seem to have glitches often.

UPDATE: 19/06/2026: We continue to have a very positive experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (FCCS), which remains a core platform for our financial consolidation and close process.

The solution is used extensively across the business and plays an integral role in supporting month-end close, half year and year end reporting, as well as statutory financial reporting. It have proven to be stable, scalable and well suited to enterprise-level financial consolidation requirements.

From an operational perspective, the platformsupports strong governance and control, while also enabling efficient data loading, consolidation, translation and reporting processes. Integration with Microsoft Office tools (Smart View) continues to be a key strength supporting end-user productivity and adoption.

Overall, the system continues to meet our expectations and remains a reliable and effective solution for Financial Consolidation and Reporting.

Relatively easy to implement, configure and use, compared with other applications and services we have experienced. Features and functionality are good and easy to use. From an IT perspective it is quite straightforward to manage. The frequency of releases is monthly at the moment, which creates a bit of an overhead for regression testing, but I am sure that will reduce with time.
