1. Control over forecasting versions - Anaplan makes it easy to manage multiple scenarios and forecast versions within a single, structured environment. We can compare versions side by side, maintain a clear audit trail, and keep every team working from the same source of truth, which was difficult to achieve with our previous spreadsheet-based process. 2. Customizability of UX pages - The ability to build tailored UX pages for different users and teams is a real standout. We can design views that surface exactly the data and inputs each audience needs, which keeps the experience intuitive for business users while hiding the underlying model complexity. This has driven strong adoption across our finance teams. 3. Dimensionality - The multidimensional modelling approach is powerful and performant. Being able to structure data across dimensions like time, product, geography and version lets us slice and analyse our forecasts in whatever way the business needs. It gives us real flexibility in how we plan and report.

I found the learning curve to be complex when first started using. System performance slow if the models are not optimized frequently.
