EPM has a great set of tools to start and build upon as a company works toward a more integrated financial planning process. While some of the coding and data processes aren't straightforward for a business owner, there are plenty of resources between Oracle and a large number of SIs in the marketplace to help fill that knowledge gap. If possible, I would suggest that there be in-house knowledge for EPM to best help speed implementation and allow for product improvement without spending money at the SIs for support. However, that isn't always possible and the SIs we have engaged with are well versed in the product and can help make those changes relatively quickly.

Overall, this seems decent. It replaced a system that was very difficult to use and it's certainly better than that. However, there are certain things that are not at all intuitive, which can make things challenging.
