Full-stack HCI software provides a complete software solution that includes virtualized compute, storage and networking from a single instantiation designed to run on-premises or in a colocation environment. This market consists of those vendors that develop and sell hyperconverged infrastructure software that comprises the vendor’s own server virtualization, software-defined storage and network management tools. The full-stack software solution may also be integrated with a hardware stack as a complete offering spanning both software and hardware. In the last year, the full-stack HCI market has been heavily influenced by the positioning of storage virtualization and private cloud infrastructure looking to revirtualize compute, as well as considering alternatives to incumbent vendors.
"Efficient and Intuitive System Resolves Hitches Quickly"
Far easier to use and more intuitive than our previous environment. Only 2 issues so far due to a power surge and then a bad fiber patch cable, but support helped very quickly and had it straightened out very quickly. Once the system reached end of support, I updated to a new version from Scale again. I felt no need to look elsewhere.
"Product Users Emphasize Customization Features and Comprehensive Support"

"StarWind Virtual SAN: A flexible option to approach HCI on your own terms"
I used the free version of StarWind Virtual SAN a few years ago to test some High Availability proof of concepts and then this year pulled the trigger on buying a 2-server node license. Both with the free version and the purchased one, I have been quite impressed with the product itself. Having an option for a virtual SAN hosted on servers is a configuration that not every organization might need. Many will go the route of just having hardware SANs. Whether utilizing existing hardware or if you want more granular control of your storage device utilizing this type of Virtual SAN can be a great option. In particular, with vendors pushing more and more "closed-box" server and storage systems where administrators cannot control the underlying architecture, an option like this is refreshing. With a 2-node setup we can utilize high speed server storage and cut out the need for more complex quorum arrangements and optical networking equipment. High Availability with just two servers and no additional hardware footprints to mix into my environment has been a major plus. Working with StarWinds support technicians (well just one technician, I've only talked to the same one each time I ask for help) has been a major plus as well. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. He even helped spot an underlying hardware issue with one of my devices while we were getting things setup. The only negative I have experienced so far is the difficulty at getting answers to my questions and setting up support calls in a simple expedient way. Communication with my sales rep can be slow at times and answers to my questions often end up forwarded through the rep, slowing and sometimes confusing the exchanges. Once a support call is set up though things go well.
"Windows server full stack hypervisor "
windows server management , hypervisor, overall management of service is very easy.
"Navigating the Evolution and Performance of Vmware VSAN"
Our overall experience with Vmware VSAN has been excellent. We have been a user of this product from when it was first introduced in beta. At that time, I would not be writing this type of review due to the many negatives that came along with it like performance based on hardware. There was also misinformation on the hardware that was compatible and which drivers actually worked well (or at all). Eventually we purchased VMWare's hyper converged servers with VSAN included. This was around version 6.0. From that point forward, VSAN has been a game changer for us. Rock solid. NO performance issues at all and no driver based issues. It seemed like they worked out the kinks in the VSAN used in the Hyper Converged server stack that they were then selling.
"Deploy apps faster, ensures that servers are never down"
Expertise in deploying applications fast once code is finalized. IT operations are well supported with powerful data integrations and services.
"Balancing Cost with Ease: The Challenges of New Tech"

"Technology Savings and User Feedback on SmartX Hyper-Converged Systems"
SmartX hyper-converged products provide us with a favorable user experience. First, the overall complexity of the infrastructure, including network, storage, and disaster recovery, has been greatly reduced. We can focus more on business development without worrying too much about infrastructure operation and maintenance, expansion and fault recovery. At the same time, significant savings in operating costs have been realized, including the cost of cabinet space, technician costs and equipment costs.
"Achieving Project Goals Efficiently with SangFor's Innovations"
Rollout of new features thru version updates is highly commendable. SangFor adds a ton of new features and innovations with every version release. This helped us achieve project goals more cost efficiently. With the release of the new Firmware that expands VDI support to existing HCI allowing us to provide a maximum of 300 Thin client VMs in the same cluster, our company was able to save at least PhP 7M in capital expenditure

"Business system oriented HCI platform"
Huayun HCI has been running smoothly for 6 months. At present, some business systems on VMware platform have been migrated to Huayun HCI platform initially. Overall business operation has been reported positively, and no exception occurs with the business system. In daily administration, the Chinese interface is relatively user-friendly, and the operation logic is relatively clear. For our operation and maintenance dept., it reduces the difficulty of our daily administration and simplifies our OM process.

"Works straight out of the box. Great after sales service."
We needed an environment that developer teams could administer themselves to quickly spawn new VMs, databases and new pods/dockers and manage their own environments; and at the same time free system administrators so they can focus on production systems. Stratoscale provides an AWS-like interface that most developers are already familiar with.
