Product(s): Saviynt Identity Cloud
Overall Comment:"Product itself is solid, has a lot of features that we've been missing with previous products. The main drawback is how application attributes are stored and managed, plus the lack of an integrated data dictionary, means that a lot of leeway is given to the implementers of the product, which in our case was an MSP."
Ability to connect to our two cloud platforms (Azure and GCP) and manage them in a familiar Account-Entitlment format. Converged architecture, so when we are ready to migrate to PAM that will be relatively seamless. True SaaS solves a lot of our staffing issues.
User, account, and other entities have attribues stored in so-called CustomProperties, which are repeating groups on the base entity table. You can store a label for the attribute name in the GUI, but all back-end operations ( Rules, SQL) need to use the CustomProperty number. Technical support relies too much on the solutions offered in the Forums, ie customer-submitted questions and answers. There seems to be just one way to provision attributes to accounts, which are different versions of mappings in json. No obvious way to sync, for example, just a few attributes from a book of record
