Document AI Shows Interface Strengths But Faces Errors With Complex or Large Files

One of the most impressive aspects of Document AI is its powerful AI driven ability to process and understand complex documents. The generative AI capabilities help us extract critical infirmation from unstructured documents such as supplier aggrement, compliance records and operational reports using simple prompts while.the summarazation feature quickly produces concise summary from long documents. This saves us review time and enables our teams to capture key information needed for operational abd regulatory decisions. The platform automated data extraction from common manufacturing documents e.g purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, vendor forms and receipts , reducing manual data entry and improving processing speed and accuracy. Features such as custom classifier and custom splitter automatically categorize documents and separate multiple files within a single submission, which is especially useful when we are handling large batches of supplier documents. In addition, It supports complex document formats including handwritten texts, low quality scans and multi-page files. Since Document AI is built on Google cloud it offers strong scalability and enterprise grade security while supporting both batch and realtime processing. Beyond technical functionality, it also provides a clean, intuitive interface that integrates smoothly into our existing workflows and their customer support is responsive and helpful when implementing new document workflows or troubleshooting integrations.

AI is only very good at highly specific tasks: such as 'Analyse the difference between cell X and cell Y, but does not provide great insight. AI also frequently makes mistakes and confuses itself in large data environments (ie, working across several workbooks or an extra large document) - creating a lack of confidence in the result given. It is clear that the AI needs more training with time. While the integration with Google Docs is great, if your document is not within the Google Documents ecosystem, it becomes incredibly difficult to transfer/copy data into Docs for comparison. (Due to several formatting inconsistencies and hurdles)
