Modell korrekt sind, nicht eine Vielzahl von Mitarbeitenden eigene Auswertungen auf Basis eigener Daten/unklarer/nicht nachvollzieberar Daten betreibt, es soll Arbeit reduziert, die Qualität verbessert, der Zugang von Informationen für Service Owner und Leistungsabnehmer vereinfacht und beschleunigt werden und mittelfristig sollen IT-Kosten reduziert bzw. der Einsatz von Kapital für IT effizienter werden. 

This product helps us transform the way we present IT costs and improve IT cost transparency from Excel spreadsheets to a more holistic, integrated view of IT operating expenses. It will serve as our single source of truth for IT expenditures/costs according to the TBM model (something SAP Finance doesn't offer). This will ensure that costs are accurate according to the model, preventing numerous employees from conducting their own analyses based on their own data, unclear data, or data that is difficult to trace. It will reduce workload, improve quality, simplify and accelerate access to information for service owners and service users, and, in the medium term, reduce IT costs and make the use of IT capital more efficient.

Overall my experience with Serviceware Financial has been positive for IT cost management and financial reporting. It helped bring data from different sources into one place and made cost allocation more consistent across teams. The reporting and cost modeling features were useful when comparing costs and understanding where spending was increasing.

At the same time, data normalization and data preparation required more effort than expected in the beginning. If source data is not clean or standardized, getting the reports exactly as needed can take some work. Once the data structure was stable, the platform became much easier to use and the reporting results were more reliable.
