The core components of MPS include: 1) Thorough requirements assessment. 2) Optimization of new and existing hardware.
3)Provision of service, parts and supplies within defined service levels. 4) Active management and reporting on devices, utilization and other key performance indicators (KPIs). 4) User training and change management to support solution adoption. In addition to core services some add-on components have become popular: a) Print server consolidation or elimination and cloud solutions. b) Digitization and automation of previously paper-reliant workflows and integration with business systems (document and content management digital platforms). c) Security capabilities for print infrastructure, along with security consultancy services. d) Sustainability and green initiatives programs and services.

I have worked with multiple Managed Print Service Providers and working with Canon was kind of an average experience. Canon's customer support is a little slow. Though the staff is very supportive but they can really work on having a quick response time. Moreover, I did not like the dashboard view. other MPS providers have much better dashboards leading to a better customer experience. Canon MPS solution is good for small scale organizations I would say. For big enterprises, I don't think Canon is a good fit  

It Systems Manager

Our Canon business manager was very helpful, he provided great details on variety of printer models and suggested the best that suits on business need most. They also keeps and eye out for any hardware that requires a swap or renewal providing suggestions of newer models based on our use cases.
