Security services are spread over multiple towers and locations, some are excellent, others are not as good.  They can also be negitively impacted by the delivery of non-security services e.g. The provision of endpoint security relies on a solid CMDB and AD health which is provided by teams in another business unit.  All services at times appear to act in silos and demonstrate a lack of awareness of how to communicate or progress issues outwith their area.  The service delivery function should bring the teams together across geographies, functions and business units with the support of security management, however, with competing priorities and lack of focus this does not always happen.

They have improved overall threat detection and response capabilities by deploying right security use cases and integrating all our key assets to our SIEM.
