I absolutely love Asana. It helps our team manage all of our work collaboratively and ensures we are moving projects forward. I particularly use it to manage new product development and go to market launches from conception to launch. We manage the conception of the product, the design, the manufacturing of the product, the arrival to our warehouses, the marketing, the communications and the sales of that product. This involves many different teams and Asana helps everyone stay on track and find the right information. We use it to make sure all of our marketing tasks are completed and each person's tasks are completed before their work is needed by another team member to complete his or her task.

For Marketing specifically, we've found we're limited by Asana. The creative review option is clunky; you have to convert the task to a different type of task and change the owner. That's further complicated when you have to flip it back to to the creative for feedback. 

Project views (aside from the list view) aren't very intuitive. The "rules" feature that automates tasks and customizes workflows has a lot of limitations. But, it's being updated regularly, so that's a great sign. Onboarding new users isn't great. I wish there were more offered by the software itself there.

Asana is a great project tracker with tons of functionality, and a great way to stay on top of team projects and collaborate. Easily see what your team is working on and have clear reporting for project completion quarter over quarter.
