Alation listens and gives the user community an opportunity to share ideas and work together to improve the Alation tool and even the applications specific use of the platform. The ease of the connectors and ability to connect/pull in Metadata is very smooth and easy to implement. The exposure of database content is great via the Alation Analytics database and allows teams to report on usage/curation progress as well as other KPIs. Alation's continued expansion and solution package is very palatable.

One of the most important functions of this platform is cross-system lineage, and it has not been stable since implementation. On top of that, the remediation effort for our poor experience has been very slow.
