I have used Watson’s for a period of 2 years as a senior business intelligence developer in the telecommunication industry. I have found the product to be efficient and effective in providing a single point of contact and a birds eye view of the entire data assets and the connections and dependencies within other assets in my program.

The product is one trick pony, and even that trick is challenging. Customer support is sub-par, everyone is friendly and look like they want to help, but don't know how. There were more promises that deliveries. The lineage is super detailed at one piece of diagram and non-existent in the other. Overall very mediocre experience.

Overall, the experience has been really good, as this provides strong data governance, lineage and meta data management features with useful AI-driven insights. Only kind of drawback I feel is that the setup and navigation will feel difficult for new or first-time users.
