Clevertap is a lower cost alternative for mobile marketing automation compared to other solutions on the market. It does a great job of sending messages & notifications to users based on triggered events, and I love the email creator & push notification tools. But overall I find the platform is not very user friendly. The UX/UI hasn't been updated in the 3 years since I've been using it, and poor UX glitches make Clevertap pretty annoying to use a lot of the time. It feels like it was built on an outdated web platform, and the complexity of the product and user unfriendliness has made certain features feel inaccessible. Ultimately, my decision to use Clevertap was for its affordability, and it does what I need it to do at a much lower cost than competitors.
