From supplier collaboration to payment financing, the platform offering is very comprehensive and covers pretty much every area of the supply/value chain that an organization could need. Once some of the basic, foundational items are in place (Unified Order), the modular nature of the platform is one of its biggest strengths. You can start with as little or as much as you would like, giving the enterprise an opportunity to dip its toe in the water and expand from there - adding on modules/features as the need arises or as optimization initiatives present themselves. The longevity and industry expertise of Infor team members is one of their huge strengths. We have been working with Infor for over 5 years, implementing multiple modules of the platform along the way. The team members that have partnered with us have been the same at every step of the way, allowing continuity of the relationship, bringing to bear critical knowledge about our business and how we operate to implementation efforts, and allowing for a level of trust with the partnership that you don't really get with other organizations. Their product team really listens. There have been a couple of times where platform/module functionality hadn't performed as expected or wasn't exactly what was needed to satisfy our business cases/processes. Each time this occurred their product teams made it a priority to unpack the use cases and subsequently included the feature/functionality as a part of the standard platform offering. This allowed us to avoid unnecessary customization and provided a way of future-proofing our instances for subsequent platform upgrades/releases. This is one of the real strengths of Infor and the platform - they aim to make the system configurable rather than customizable.
