ISE had its challenges in the beginning but has since grown into an amazing platform that continues to accelerate and become easier for engineers to utilize. Policies and profiles continue to get easier, especially with the new profiling mechanisms in ISE 3.5. TACACS has also provided us with valuable insight as a company for auditing purposes and secure control that has continued to evolve since the early ACS days. The reporting structure is amazing as you can pull amazing stats on your environment for radius (wireless/mab auths). This is the most advanced/knowledgeable access control system I have used in my last 15 years with excellent device security.

negative experience with ISE with profiling issues and connected but for some reason if users move desks then the port is closed and wifi may start acting up as well. we have even worked with vendors/support to address these issues and evennthey are stumped. ise has not been a good experience at all.

Working with my current employer Cisco has been very responsive and proactive with both our issues and requests. ISE has been performing well as our RADIUS and TACACS+ server and handling the authentications of over 7000 devices connecting to our network daily.
