What I like most is how much it centralises without forcing every task into the same basic workflow. I can organise sessions by customer, subscription, environment or support team, then apply credentials and connection settings consistently. For Azure work, that makes jumping between production, test, management and hybrid infrastructure much less error-prone. Credential management is particularly strong. Credentials can be linked rather than copied across entries, and access can be granted without exposing the actual password to the technician. When used with Devolutions Server or PAM, features such as MFA at checkout, just-in-time elevation, account discovery and password rotation provide much better control over privileged accounts. The permissions model is another major advantage. Roles and vaults allow us to give helpdesk teams exactly the access they require while keeping sensitive infrastructure restricted. I also appreciate that it is genuinely cross-platform. Our Windows, macOS and Linux users can work from the same central structure instead of maintaining separate connection lists. It is flexible enough for experienced engineers without making routine support work unnecessarily difficult.
