The most impressive capability of this tool is its comprehensive app discovery and the way it handles shadow IT. Previously, our IT team had no visibility into what software employees were buying on their corporate cards until Accounts Payable processed the expense reports at the end of the month. By integrating directly with our financial systems and identity providers, 1Password flags unsanctioned tools immediately. Furthermore, its AI Consumption Management feature is a game-changer. It tracks exact API token usage and budget burn across multiple AI vendors and gives us a single, normalized dashboard to view those costs.

The pricing structure can be expensive for smaller teams. The costs compared to alternative products are quite high.
