I love the monday.com work management platform, but the design just doesn't translate well as a CRM. Despite watching tutorials, I can not make it work for marketing. It seems to work fine for our small-scale sales team, but they use it mostly for notes.

Monday is one of my favorite tools, so the idea of having a task manager and a CRM in the same environment was very attractive. 

The CRM has all the features one can expect, the room for customization and its powerful API are some of the features that made me decide on Monday. 

The downside is that we couldn't manage to get an alert system to notify users when a new email has arrived. Additionally, emails sent and received can be linked to a deal, but it is not possible -or at least is not user friendly- to filter out all other emails sent by the deal contact realted to other deals.

The pricing structure was complicated. All the teams used the task manager module, but only the sales team used the CRM module. In order to enable communication between modules, we had to subscribe to both modules for all teams 

I'm sure that these needs are not relevant for other businesses, but in our case they were a decisive argument to look for other solution.
