SAP is a very useful tool for management and integration of data. My experience using this program showed me how essential it is for a company to have a powerful tool to map its processes. Most of the problems I had and saw on SAP were related to how people use it. For example: errors in the registration of a client, or information missing. Only one thing bother me it is the "general" interface for multiple processes. Because the text fields sometimes have the same label, but depending on the transaction it means something different. Sometimes I get confused, but I understand, it's the idea of the plataform to integrate various steps. On the other hand, the automatisation with scripts are very easy to implement and you can even record it! So you will have the code ready just to run. It's also easy to create an interface with excel and import/export data. Overall SAP is a management application which I truly recommend.

My experience with SAP application Management is remarkable , it has help the organization in organizing the data and ran the solutions cost effectively.

We just entered in a 3rd partnership term with Accenture of 5 years, so since more then 10 years, Accenture is our main Application Implementation Services partner, globally, complemented tactically with some others for punctual projects. Accenture has strong track record of delivering with our own internal teams, never any major hick-ups on any of the flagship and other projects we did with Accenture. Also, Accenture could follow our agenda of Cloud-First (eg move to Salesforce, eg move to SAP HR Successfactors, etc....). Also Accenture providing the opti-shoring (near-shore and off-shore) ifo our requirements.

Good experience: very skilled consultants, good methodology, great commitment. The activity scope was the Risk assessment of a complex SAP roll-out in US. The service has been very usefull in order to have an “external” evaluation of project risks.

The SAP EU rollout was very challenging and Mylan has failed thrice over the past 10 years but cognizant completed this project without any delay in 18 months across 25 countries in 3 continents. Their dedication and support is commendable and they ran this project like a factory by fielding consultants 24X7 globally and by adapting agile methodology to resolve issues in less than 48 hrs. by collaborating with business and Mylan IT.

Their low turn-over rate on our landed support staff has made them a premier partner and are mostly perceived as augmented staff of our own team. The Deloitte AMS team has been a great addition to our originization. We have limited SAP experience and have used Deloitte to configure and deploy our HANA environment. Using them as the AMS team only made since as they became responsible for their implementation and all custom development. They've been cost effective and efficent with our engagment.

NTT has been very responsive over multiple engagements, providing competitive proposals and backing these up with quality staff. In the rare occasions where there have been issues they've urgently engaged to satisfactorily resolve.

The relationship with HCL on the SAP implementation has been more of a partnership than a vendor-cutomer relationship. If there are issues with either HCL or Gulfstream we are open and honest in dealing with the problems. The way the project is being executed would make it difficult for an external party to distinguish the difference between a direct employee and a consultant, which is the way we want it to be. If there are any challenges it has been around HCL providing resources for newer or "just released" applications. At times it has taken longer than desired to fill these roles.
