We started using Palo Alto Prisma Access a few years ago when our organization needed a more scalable way to provide secure remote access for employees and external partners. Traditional VPN solutions were becoming difficult to manage, especially with a growing number of remote users and distributed systems.

In our experience, Prisma Access helped simplify secure connectivity by moving a lot of the infrastructure into the cloud. It allowed us to enforce consistent security policies without having to maintain multiple on-premise gateways. Once the initial setup and integration with our identity provider were complete, the platform became relatively stable and easy to operate.

GlobalProtect VPN seemed like a good VPN option at first, but ended up being a bad mistake. Its lifecycle in the organization began alright but turned bad in the end. It quickly dropped its reliability and switched to being unreliable. Unreliability was not only in active connection, but also in starting. It often lagged in starting or outright refused to start on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.

We have been using Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access for more than 3 years. Our experience  with Palo Alto Prisma Access has been excellent. The platform provides strong security, stable connectivity, and seamless support for remote users and branch locations. Centralized management  and integration with other Palo Alto solutions make operations easier and improve visibility across the environment. Palo Alto Networks also launched Prisma Access Secure Enterprise Browser, which further enhances security by providing secure browser-based access and better protection for SaaS and web applications. Initial deployment required some planning, but the overall performance, scalability, and user experience have been very good.
