Stability and Performance Remain Strong Despite Lack of Ongoing Updates and Support

Zero-downtime patching is the most important feature for us when we need to patch the kernel or deal with critical vulnerabilities etc. without rebooting. The very high-performance that the kernel offers is also key. Even our most intensive workloads are easily handled and it scales well. The unified console to schedule our patching is very pleasant to work with. It's a very cost-effective solution, we get a world-class hypervisor and even a batteries-included k8s stack for a fair price.

dislikes

Since the extended support has ended, this product is no longer receiving bug fixes, security patches or new features. Managing the stack is hard, and requires its own complex stack just to be able to manage the hypervisor. The maintenance burden is thus quite high. Handles over-commitment of resources poorly, causing the need to buy more capacity than you require.
