There are a lot of services on offer with AWS, some I'd never touch but are really cool like Braket for quantum computing. But in my time making use of AWS, I can't recall a time where I had a project or task to finish where there wasn't some service available that did a lot of the legwork. A pretty good example is when we moved to a new office and a third-party parking provider required us to provide registration numbers on cars to validate, so we made a quick app running on an EC2 instance, configured Route53 for DNS, and then deployed it so our staff could easily add their registration plate to the parking system hassle free. On the management side (where I sit on the outside advising as a Senior Security Analyst) AWS IAM is a lifesaver. Due to how our org is set up, we need to provide granular access across different dev teams to different areas such as testing and production. I have also seen the billing tools in action with Cost Explorer and Compute Optimizer which is also great as it makes the billing digestible for non-techies like Finance and shows us where we can save money using machine learning.
