The thing that I like most about Planview is the portfolio performance regarding timelines, budgets, and resource capacity. The ability to prioritize initiatives and run planning situations across our portfolios for improving our executive level decision-marking. The reporting and analytics capabilities has made it easier to monitor progress better to identify any arising risks early.

Although Planview provides tools for resource planning, it has a confusing interface. Users struggle with poor visibility into resource capacity, with difficulties in easily comparing actual and demand hours for a resource. The system can be rigid, with complex governance and approval processes that may slow down project delivery.
