We utilize Anaplan for our headcount and workforce planning, and overall, our experience with the product has been positive, though there are some areas of improvement. The platform offers a low code/no code environment with an intuitive excel-like interface, allowing us to quickly develop and deploy solutions on a global scale, which is a big advantage compared to other IT heavy software. However, Anaplan does not provide any out-of-the-box solution/feature, meaning if an implementation goes wrong, the users may have a very bad experience with the platform, leading to lower adoption of the product in your organization.

My overall experience with Anaplan for HR and Workforce planning has been positive.  Anaplan allows users to build powerful models and applications to solve complex business problems without the need for coding or software development knowledge.  It is versatile enough to be used by small and large companies, and across many different departments and use cases.  Specifically, Anaplan allows for powerful forecasting and planning of headcount and workforce expenses, but is most powerful when using in combination with other HR software.  Although sometimes you can run into issues when building and using the Anaplan customer service group is available 24/7 and has been very helpful to me in the past.
