A Vendor-Neutral Archive (VNA) is an enterprisewide image management platform and repository of patient-centric medical images and studies, and other unstructured clinical content resulting from care activity. Vendor neutrality is achieved by integrating with all notable PACS and accommodating proprietary vendor and healthcare provider requirements for medical image storage, retrieval, manipulation and viewing. A VNA can increase the healthcare provider’s control and ownership over its medical imaging data, mitigate PACS migration complexity and cost, and decrease the healthcare provider’s dependence on individual PACS vendors.
"Implement and upkeep of this system is easy and will fit any workflow "
I have worked with the NovaRad PACS system for the last 12 years at multiple different facilities and I can honestly say that it is one of the most user friendly PACS systems I have seen. It extremely customizable and fits well in any workflow. Their support staff has always been amazing and your are normally connect to someone right away. They do not make you wait for a callback or put you on hold for hours.
"Faster integration with endpoints machines Great support 24*7 by Agfa."
The implementation and integration with our old machines was good anda faster. Sometimes problems appears around all the platform when some server goes down.
"Great Visualization Software"
CareAware MultiMedia allows for providers to put images into a mobile friendly app that can be utilized on clinicians cellphones, tablets, etc, in a HIPPA friendly way. It adds a much needed dimension into Cerner CareAware.
"Really useful and value adding tool both for patients and hospitals"
This tool is a cloud-based platform that compiles and analyzes clinical datas. Via this tool your company can provide more effective and qualitatively better healthcare services with lower costs. Your patients have the capability to access all their health data in single platform interaction with their doctors. Also this tool provide decrease the visit of re-examination visits which means saving for hospital.
"Implementation and updates wasn't as smooth as we would have liked"
Wish we had went with another system but you get what you pay for or what you don't pay for is probably our issue. Our facility has to purchase with what is with in budget like most any facility and we have had issues since install.
"Excellent User Friendly EMR Archiving Software"
Centricity is very user friendly compared to other clinical archive programs. The learning curve was easy to overcome and the features have been very beneficial for our practice. We have been able to organize old patient information from our clinic as well as records for our patients from other clinics. My favorite feature is that its compatible with many EMR programs and could take data from the two EMR programs we have used in the past. It can also create an image of info for archiving which is easy for viewing. Customer service was extremely helpful when we first started using the software and required support but the training material could have been more thorough.
